In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top navigation and maps applications on iOS in Europe showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at how these leading apps fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 470K and 596K. Active users saw a downward trend from 121M to 116M by the end of December.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced consistent downloads, peaking at around 211K in late October. Active users ranged from 16.5M to 17.6M, showing steady engagement throughout the quarter.

Google Earth had weekly downloads between 75K and 102K, with a notable increase in late December. Active users started at 1.9M, dropping to 1.8M by the quarter's end.

Yandex Maps & Navigator saw weekly revenue peaking at $4.3K in early December, while downloads varied from 62K to 86K. Active users remained relatively stable, ending the quarter around 11.1M.

2GIS: Offline Map & Navigation had downloads ranging from 43K to 66K, with active users slightly declining from 5.9M to 5.4M.
